We've been hearing a lot about Apple's upcoming AirPods Pro 2, and today we have even more exciting news: Apple is reportedly ramping up production of the AirPods Pro 2, implying that an announcement and release date won't be too far away.
According to supply chain news outlet DigiTimes (via MacRumors), Apple has begun increasing chip orders from NOR Flash, a key supplier, for the updated AirPods Pro.
The report is consistent with previous rumors, which suggested that the AirPods Pro 2 would be released in the second half of 2022. For context, the original AirPods Pro was released on October 30, 2019, making an upgrade long overdue.
