Boat, India's most popular smart wearable manufacturer, has introduced a new budget smartwatch in the Wave series. The company has announced the Boat Wave Neo smartwatch, which will be available on Flipkart for less than Rs 2,000. This is the third smartwatch in the Wave series from the company, following the Boat Wave Pro and Boat Wave Lite, both of which were released in March of this year.
The newly released Boat Wave Lite features a bright colour touch screen display, 10 sports modes, a slew of health and fitness features, a one-week battery life, and a few smart features. The Boat Wave Neo is priced at Rs 1,799, and it will be available in three colours: black, blue, and burgundy. The wearable will be available for purchase on Flipkart on May 27th at 12 p.m.

To start, the Boat Wave Neo features a 1.69-inch full touch screen display with 550 nits of brightness, 454 x 454 pixels of resolution, and a 2.5D curved glass screen. A 24/7 heart rate sensor, a SpO2 monitor to measure blood oxygen level, a stress tracker, an accelerometer, and a sleep tracker is among the health-related sensors included. Walking, running, climbing, yoga, basketball, cycling, hiking, skipping, badminton, and swimming are among the ten sports modes supported by the watch. Aside from these features, the watch can track your daily activities such as steps taken, distance travelled, calories burned, and so on.

The watch is only 35 grams in weight and comes with a free-size silicone strap. Furthermore, the Boat Wave Neo has a battery life of up to 7 days on a single charge. The watch's smart features include call alerts, SMS, weather updates, sedentary reminders, alarms, music control, camera control, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. Other features include support for 100+ watch faces via the companion Boat Hub application, as well as an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
