HP OMEN Laptop Lineup: What it Offers

The HP OMEN 16 and OMEN 17 laptops use 12th generation Intel and AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors, but HP does not specify which processor SKUs are used. However, the company has confirmed that both the OMEN 16 and 17 will be equipped with up to Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti GPUs or AMD's Ryzen RX 6650M GPUs. RAM and storage capacities are increased to 32GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSDs.

The OMEN 16 has a 16.1-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, quad HD screen resolution, and a refresh rate of 165Hz. The OMEN 17 has the same screen resolution and refresh rate as the OMEN 15, but it is 17.3 inches in size. Both laptops have an additional heat pipe and outflow vent, which contribute to lower operating temperatures for the GPU and SSD inside. This would allow the laptops to run at peak performance for longer periods of time due to improved heat management.
