BBK Electronics' newest brand, iQOO, has recently released a number of consistent products. It is now expected to launch a new flagship-grade smartphone in India, which could be the first to use Qualcomm's top-tier chip. According to 91mobiles, the iQOO 9T is now set to launch in India soon, with the brand planning to launch the smartphone next month.

The iQOO 9T has also reportedly passed certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which is a certifying authority that approves various product categories before brands can offer them to consumers.

iQOO 9T: What We Expect to See

The iQOO 9T appears to be the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, which is a mid-cycle upgrade and the company's top tier of flagship smartphone chips.

According to reports, the OnePlus 10T, the company's flagship smartphone, may also launch around the same time with the same chipset, but the exact launch dates of the two remain unknown for the time being.

According to 91mobiles, the iQOO 9T could have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, but the display resolution is not specified. While a full HD screen resolution is a given, it will be interesting to see if iQOO includes a 2K (or quad HD) screen resolution on the upcoming smartphone.

In addition, the device is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Given that it's recently unveiled Neo 6 smartphone has the same amount of RAM and storage, this is the bare minimum that can be expected from a flagship-grade smartphone.

The iQOO 9T is also expected to have a triple rear camera setup and 120W fast charging. While the device has passed BIS certification, there are no specifications listed in the certification. As a result, more information should become available in the coming weeks, when the device is expected to become official.
