Reliance Jio, the telecom operator founded by Mukesh Ambani, has introduced three new postpaid monthly recharge options for JioFi in India. The three new JioFi 4G wireless hotspot subscriptions cost Rs 249, Rs 299, and Rs 349, respectively, and come with varying data limits.

These new services are intended for businesses and enterprises that want to use Jio's high-speed 4G connectivity. However, there is a catch. The 4G modems are given out on a use-and-return basis. Unlike regular Jio mobile recharge plans, these new plans do not include calling or SMS benefits. Let's take a closer look at the new JioFi postpaid recharge plans in India, including the price, benefits, and everything we know so far.

Jio's three new plans include a Rs 249 option that provides 30GB of data monthly, a Rs 299 plan that provides 40GB of data, and a Rs 349 plan that provides 50GB of data monthly. When the monthly data limit is reached, internet speeds are reduced to 64Kbps.

As previously stated, there are no voice or SMS benefits with the package, and there is an 18-month lock-in period. Jio's new postpaid plans include free 4G hotspot gear, the JioFi, that users can "use and return." Customers must place a minimum initial purchase quantity of 200 pieces to take advantage of JioFi postpaid pricing plans.

The JioFi 4G wireless hotspot can connect up to ten devices via Wi-Fi and one via USB tethering to the internet. The device accepts a single Nano-SIM and is said to last up to five to six hours at a maximum speed of 150Mbps. For connectivity, it has a 2,300mAh battery cell, a micro-USB charging connector, and a microSD card.

Customers who are interested in the product can contact Reliance Jio or fill out a form on the company's official website. In related news, Reliance Jio is testing 5G VoNR and 4G VoLTE interoperability to improve call quality.
