Lava Mobiles, an Indian smartphone company, has quietly debuted a new gadget in India. The Blaze 1X 5G is the company's new affordable smartphone offering in the country. The Lava Blaze 1X 5G is the successor to the Blaze 5G, which was released last year. Under the hood, the new Lava smartphone receives some significant upgrades. Despite being a low-cost model, it retains a premium glass back panel.

The Blaze 1X 5G has a flat back panel and frame. It comes with a single RAM and storage option. Let's take a look at the Lava Blaze 1X 5G characteristics, features, and other information that is currently available.

Lava Blaze 1X 5G Price in India and Specifications 

Lava confirmed that the Blaze 1X 5G with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage would be available for purchase in India. However, the phone's price is unknown. Lava has announced that its new Blaze series 5G smartphone will be available in two colors: Glass Green and Glass Blue.

The new Lava smartphone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1600 720 pixels. The 2.5D display can also support a refresh rate of 90Hz. It has a waterdrop notch on top for the front-facing camera. The chin bezel is quite thick in contrast to the other bezels. According to reports, the device has WideVine L1 certification.

On the rear of the phone, there are three cameras. The main camera sensor will be 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture. A 2MP macro sensor and a VGA camera with an LED flash will also be included in the phone. The Blaze 1X 5G will have an 8MP front camera sensor for selfies.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, an octa-core processor based on a 7nm technology, will power the low-cost smartphone. The rather ancient SoC comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Blaze 1X 5G will support up to 5GB of virtual RAM and will be extendable to 1TB via microSD card. The phone will include a hybrid SIM card slot.

In terms of software, the Blaze 1X 5G will ship with Android 12, which is somewhat disappointing given that Android 13 has been available for months. There will be a fingerprint scanner on the side. The phone will also support numerous 5G bands in India, including n1/n3/n5/n8/n28/n41/n77/n78.

The Blaze 1X 5G will be powered by a large 5000mAh battery. It will support 15W rapid charging. Users can, however, expect to receive a 12W charger in the box. The smartphone will include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and other features. It will have a USB Type-C port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Blaze 1X 5G will weigh approximately 207 grams and have dimensions of 165.3 76.4 8.9mm. The sole 6GB RAM option is estimated to cost roughly Rs 12,000 in India.
