Motorola is preparing for a new launch event on September 8. The Moto Edge 30 Ultra will be released as the company's new flagship smartphone, featuring a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 200MP main camera sensor. Along with the Edge 30 Fusion, the company is expected to release the Edge 30 Fusion with a Snapdragon 888+ SoC. There will also be a third smartphone, which will be significantly less expensive than the other two Edge 30 series phones. The Moto Edge 30 Neo is also set to be released on September 8.

This year, the Moto Edge 30 Neo will be the most affordable smartphone in the series. The phone has made a trip to the Google Play Console website. According to the listing, the Edge 30 Neo is powered by a Qualcomm SM6375 SoC, which is essentially the Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will be accompanied by an Adreno 619 SoC. The 5G chipset was also found in the Moto G82, which was released in India earlier this year.
The Edge 30 Neo's Google Play Console listing also reveals that the phone will have a Full HD+ display. An image included with the listing confirms the presence of a hole-punch cutout for the front camera at the top center of the screen. The Edge 30 Neo, like almost all Motorola smartphones released this year, will ship with Android 12. It will have a MyUX layer on top of Android.

The phone's design images were recently leaked. It was revealed that the Edge 30 Neo will have dual cameras on the back. The main camera sensor on the device will be 64MP with OIS support. The secondary camera will most likely have a 13MP ultrawide sensor.
The device is said to have a 4020 mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging. It will have a 6.28-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. More information about the Edge 30 Neo should become available in the coming days.
