Moto Edge (2022): Price and Availability

The Moto Edge 2022 costs $599 (approximately Rs 48,000) in the 8GB + 256GB configuration. Motorola, on the other hand, is selling the Edge 2022 for $499 as a launch promotion (approx Rs 40,000). The smartphone is currently only available in the United States. Motorola has yet to announce the device's availability in other markets, including India.

The Moto Edge 2022 features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a 10-bit panel with HDR10+ content support and a centered punch hole notch.

The Moto Edge 2022 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1050 processor manufactured on a 6nm process. It has a Mali G610 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of onboard storage. MyUX, which is based on Android 12, runs on the smartphone.

In terms of optics, the Edge series device features a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP sensor, OIS support, and an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens that also functions as a macro sensor. It also has a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.25.

For selfies and video calls, the Moto Edge 2022 has a 32MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. In addition, the Edge series device supports 15W wireless charging as well as 5W reverse wireless charging. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and is water-resistant to IP52 standards.
