The Google Pixel 7 series was teased at Google I/O 2022. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be available this fall, according to the company. Google teased the Pixel 7 series at I/O 2022, showing a glimpse of the back panel. We're still a few months away from the official launch, but the Pixel 7 series appears to be joining the leak train.

A Pixel 7 Pro prototype has been leaked online. A Twitter user revealed that a friend had purchased the currently available Pixel 6 Pro from Facebook Marketplace. After nearly two months of waiting, the user obtained the device, only to discover that it is the unreleased Pixel 7 Pro.

The images show the Pixel 7 Pro wrapped in a prototype case that conceals most of the design elements, but the user did post another image of the phone without the cover, revealing the entire rear panel. The images also reveal the device's codename (cheetah) and Android 13 version (Tiramisu).

The device's purchaser suspects that the seller is an OEM manufacturer supplying the Pixel 7 series. While the story of the seller accidentally shipping a prototype of the unreleased Pixel 7 Pro appears to be too good to be true, it is impossible to ignore the fact that Google is having difficulty stopping Pixel 7 leaks. It was sufficient to send a remote wipe command and remove the Android 13 update from the phone, which is now stuck in a bootloader.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Specifications 

The majority of the Pro variant's specifications have leaked online. Google has confirmed that the 7 Pro will have three cameras on the back. It is said to have a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera.

The device will be powered by a new Tensor chip. The new chip's specifications will be revealed at the Pixel 7 launch event in the fall. The device is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

There will be a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The front camera will be housed in a hole-punch cutout in the top center of the OLED screen. The Pixel 7 series will ship with Android 13 out of the box.
