Poco F4 GT Launched With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chipset And 120W Fast Charging
Poco has unveiled the Poco F4 GT flagship phone in the global market, following the launch of the affordable Poco M4 Pro series. The Poco F4 GT, which was launched today, is currently limited to Europe, but it is expected to expand to other Asian markets, including India, in the near future. The Poco F4 GT, as the name suggests, is the successor to the Poco F3 GT, which was launched in 2021.
The F4 GT is powered by the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC available. The previous-generation F3 GT was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Poco's new device, announced today, features 120W fast charging, a flat 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 64MP rear camera.
Poco F4 GT: Price and Availability
The Poco F4 GT starts at EUR 599 (Rs 49,900) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and goes up to EUR 699 (Rs 57,200) for the top-of-the-line 12GB+256GB variant. The device will be available in Knight Silver, Stealth Black, and Cyber Yellow colour options in Europe beginning April 28. For the first few days, the phone will be available for EUR 100 less.
Poco F4 GT: Specifications
The Poco F4 GT has a 6.67-inch flat screen AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Displaymate A+ certification is also included with the device.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with a 4nm process node and a clock speed of up to 3GHz. The phone has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage via UFS 3.1. The Poco phone is powered by a 4700mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. A full charge takes only 17 minutes.
The Poco F4 GT has a triple rear camera with a 64MP main camera (Sony IMX686), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The phone has a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor for selfies. The Poco F4 GT is a gaming-focused device with Liquid Cooling 3.0 and a large 4860mm2 vapour chamber for heat dissipation and improved airflow. Magnetic pop-up triggers (shoulder keys), a game tuner, and 4D vibration are also included.
In terms of build quality, the phone has a metal midframe, is 8.5mm thick, and weighs 210g. The phone has a quad-speaker setup, Dolby Atmos support, and Hi-Res audio certification for audio. It is powered by Android 12 and MIUI 13. 5G, 4G, 44 MIMO, WiFi 6, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, RGB notification lights around the camera, cyber engine linear motor, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner are among the other features.
