OnePlus is rumoured to be working on the next generation of its Ace series smartphone. The OnePlus Ace 5G was released earlier this year in China. The OnePlus 10R 5G was released in India. The device's main selling point was its performance unit, which also supported super-fast charging. After a few months, it appears that OnePlus will release a successor to the Ace series. The OnePlus Ace 2 specifications have begun to surface online.
According to the leaked specifications, the OnePlus Ace may include a new camera sensor. More importantly, the device is likely to be downgraded in terms of fast charging. Let's take a look at the OnePlus Ace 2 specifications, features, and other details that have been leaked.
OnePlus Ace 2 Specifications
The OnePlus Ace 2 could be released in India next year as the OnePlus 11R 5G. The upcoming premium phone's specifications have leaked. The OnePlus Ace 2 will support 100W fast charging, according to leaked information shared by tipster Yogesh Brar. On paper, it would be a step down from the original model's 150W fast charging capability.
The tipster also stated that the phone will receive a new camera sensor. The new Sony IMX890 50MP primary camera sensor will be found on the OnePlus Ace 2. This will, at least on paper, be a departure from the Sony IMX766 50MP sensor used in previous OnePlus smartphones.
Aside from the primary camera, there will be an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro/depth sensor. The Ace 2 will have a 16MP front camera for selfies. It will ship with Android 13 preinstalled. In China, the device will also include a layer of ColorOS 13. When it is launched in India, users can expect the phone to come pre-installed with Oxygen OS 13.

The device will be powered by a 5000mAh battery. It will be available with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM. The phone will also have storage options of 128GB and 256GB. A new processor will also be introduced. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the Ace 2.
The phone will have a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution on the front. It will support a refresh rate of 120Hz. There were rumours that the screen would be slightly curved to provide an immersive viewing experience and a premium appearance.
More information about the upcoming OnePlus smartphone is expected to be released soon. The phone could be released in China following the January release of the OnePlus 11 5G. The company has not yet commented on the launch date.
