In China, Vivo is getting ready to launch a new smartphone in the X-series. On April 11, the Vivo X Note and the X Fold foldable smartphone will be released in China. Before its official release, Vivo has already teased the design of its new premium Android smartphone. The company, on the other hand, has remained tight-lipped about the device's key specifications. While we wait for that, a new Geekbench database listing has revealed the upcoming Vivo smartphone's key performance unit details.

Vivo X Note Geekbench
When it officially launches in China on April 11, the Vivo X Note will sit above the X80 series. The model number V2170A is assigned to the device on Geekbench. The phone is codenamed Taro, according to the Geekbench listing. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 SoC. The octa-core chip has a maximum clock speed of 3.0GHz and is paired with a graphics processor, the Adreno 730.
Geekbench lists a variant with 12GB of RAM. We can expect the phone to come with storage capacities of 256GB and 512GB. Vivo's new Android flagship comes pre-installed with Android 12. It will have an Origin OS Ocean layer on top of Android. According to the listing, the phone scored 794 and 3158 in Geekbench's single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The device is expected to be available in three colours: blue, grey, and black. It will have a 7-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is expected to have a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
The phone will also have a quad-camera setup on the back, according to rumours. It will be equipped with a 50MP primary sensor as well as a 48MP ultrawide camera. A 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom and an 8MP periscope camera with up to 5x zoom will also be available. Other phone details will be revealed at the official launch event on April 11.
