Realme has launched a new GT series phone in the market this week, the GT Neo 3T, which looks to appeal to power users with its features and other aspects. The GT Neo 3T improves on the performance of the company's GT series, and its pricing makes it an appealing proposition, especially given the hardware on offer.

The most intriguing aspect of this device is that it can easily compete with phones that are much more expensive, such as the Nothing Phone (1) and, for that matter, the Google Pixel 6a. So we decided to give you the lowdown on all three phones and explain which one is worth your money.

Realme GT Neo 3T Launched: Price, and Specifications, and...

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Price in India

Realme has launched the GT Neo 3T in India for Rs 29,999, which includes the 6GB + 128GB variant. Realme also offers 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants for Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999, respectively.

The Nothing Phone (1) is priced at Rs 32,999 for 8GB+128GB. The 8GB+256GB model, which costs Rs 35,999, provides more storage. The top model, with 12GB+256GB storage, costs Rs 38,999.

In India, the Google Pixel 6a is available with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. You only have this one model, which costs Rs 43,999. During the Flipkart Big Billion Sale, however, you can get it for as little as Rs 27,699, making it a steal of a deal. The new Pixel 6a will be available at a discount of more than Rs 16,000 from Flipkart. This makes it a worthy competitor to the Realme GT Neo 3T and Nothing Phone 1 in this price range.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Design

This one, like the previous Realme GT models, bears the imprints of motorsports. The back panel has a textured chequered flag finish that is quite appealing in the yellow color. The panel is made of plastic, but surprisingly, fingerprints do not mar the appearance.

Nothing Phone (1) impresses not only with its design but also with its build quality. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 was used on both sides to create toughened glass. The frame is made from recycled aluminum. The transparent back design, as well as the use of 900 LEDs to form the Glyph interface, demonstrate to the mobile industry that phones can still look unique, and to good effect.

Nothing Phone (1) Display Specifications Leaked; Launch...

Google's Pixel 6a is based on the premium Pixel 6 series, but due to cost constraints, the company has had to switch to a plastic back panel. Nonetheless, it brings a new perspective to the segment and is sure to catch your attention. The Pixel 6a is also IP67-rated.

The Realme phone weighs 194 grams and has an 8.65mm thickness. The Pixel 6a is the lightest of the three at 178 grams, but it is also the thickest at 8.9mm. The Phone (1) is 8.3mm thick and weighs 193.5 grams. If you want something out of the ordinary, the Nothing Phone (1) is the way to go, but the Pixel 6a is a close second.

Nothing Phone (1) Display Specifications Leaked; Launch Date Is Set for Soon

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Display

The Realme GT Neo 3T has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen also has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a peak brightness of 1300nits, and a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3. The display features a punch hole cutout and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Nothing Phone (1) has a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the OLED panel is not as good as the Pixel 6a.

The Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch OLED display with full HD+ resolution. The biggest disadvantage is the lack of support for a 60Hz refresh rate screen, which only comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Most of you may prefer the higher refresh rate screen, so the choice is between Realme and Nothing.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Performance and UI

Realme GT Neo 3T brings the dependable Snapdragon 870 chipset to the sub-Rs 30,000 price range. This hardware has become well-known for its efficient performance, which is suitable even for heavy users. It has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that is not expandable. Realme provides its proprietary Realme UI 3.0 out of the box, which is based on Android 12.

Google Pixel 6a Android 13 Beta is now available ahead of the launch of the stable version.

The Snapdragon 778G+ processor powers the Nothing Phone (1), which has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Phone (1) runs Nothing OS, which is based on Android 12 and has no bloatware to worry about.

The Google Pixel 6a features the all-new Tensor processor, which was developed in-house by Google. The Titan M2 security chip is also included in this 5nm process chip. The Tensor chip is paired with 6GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which means that there is no room for expansion. Google provides the stock Android experience on this Pixel phone, which receives updates faster than the majority of Android smartphones on the market.

However, we believe that the Tensor and Snapdragon 870 chips will provide better performance in the high-end range than the Nothing Phone (1).

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Cameras

The Realme Neo 3T features a triple-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For video calls and selfies, the phone has a 16MP camera on the front.

The Nothing Phone (1) is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor. Phone (1) has a 16MP selfie camera.

The Pixel 6a comes with a dual-camera setup that includes a 12.2MP main camera with /1.7 aperture and a 12MP/2.2 ultrawide camera. The primary sensor supports OIS and EIS. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.

Now, while the Pixel 6a has the lowest megapixel count of the three, its quality is likely to be better than what Realme and Nothing have to offer thanks to Google's optimized software processing.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Battery

The Realme GT Neo 3T has a 5000mAh battery unit that supports 80W fast charging, making it the fastest of the three phones mentioned here.

Nothing Phone (1) has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging as well as 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. However, you will need to spend extra money on a charger.

The Google Pixel 6a comes with a smaller 4,410mAh battery that only supports 18W charging out of the box. As you can see, Realme not only has a larger battery but it can also be charged quickly, which the other two do not.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Verdict

Realme GT Neo 3T is a competitive package with an AMOLED display, a powerful chip, and support for fast charging. Cameras should easily meet your basic needs and even exceed them. The price makes it even more appealing. The Nothing Phone (1) has a unique take on phone design, and the glyph interface makes it visually appealing.

However, the hardware is inferior to what Realme and Google have to offer. When it comes to cameras, we easily prefer the Pixel 6a over the other two, but when it comes to battery life, we prefer the GT Neo 3T. So, yeah, the Realme GT Neo 3T wins in four of the six factors that a smartphone buyer considers these days.
