Later this week, the Realme Narzo 50 5G series will be launched in India. The Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G devices will be released at a launch event on May 18th. With only a few days until the launch, the company has begun to reveal some of the key features and details of the upcoming low-cost 5G smartphones.
Realme has confirmed the processor of the upcoming Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G in a community post on the Realme forum. The Dimensity 920 5G Processor will power the 50 Pro 5G, which the company claims will be the fastest 5G processor in the segment. Here's everything we've learned so far.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G SoC Revealed
The Dimensity 920 processor from MediaTek will power the Narzo 50 Pro 5G. This is an octa-core chipset with four 2.5GHz ARM Cortex A78 CPUs and four 2GHz Cortex A55 cores. The chipset can support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. The same Dimensity 920 SoC has also been seen on the Realme 9 Pro+ mid-range phone.
Furthermore, when it is launched on May 18, the device will be available for purchase on Amazon. The phone will also have a VC cooling system, which is said to reduce temperatures by up to ten degrees. The Narzo 50 Pro 5G will have a Full HD+ AMOLED display, a 90Hz screen refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
According to previous leaks, the device will have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display and a 5000mAh battery unit. It is said to have a 16MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor on the back. The handset is said to be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations.
