Redmi A1: A New Entry-Level Series Under Redmi?
The Redmi A1 was discovered on the Geekbench database earlier this month. The benchmark listing for the upcoming smartphone revealed that it could be powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to come pre-loaded with Android 12.
Based on this, it appears that the upcoming Redmi A1 will be an entry-level smartphone, potentially undercutting smartphones like the Redmi 9A and Redmi 10A. The Redmi A1 will be 76.56mm wide and 164.67mm long.
In terms of specifications, little is known about the Redmi A1. However, we can anticipate it appearing on more certification websites in advance of the launch. Xiaomi has yet to reveal the Redmi A1's release date/timeline. However, because the Redmi A1 has already passed BIS certification, we can expect it to be released in the country soon.
According to a recent IMEI database listing, the Redmi A1 will also be rebranded as the POCO C50 for the Indian market.
