Redmi K50i Beats iPhone 13 in AnTuTu Benchmark, and The Company Tweets Test Results Ahead of The Launch

The Redmi K50i will be available in India later this month. After nearly three years, the company will launch its first Redmi K-series smartphone in India. The K50i will be available on July 20. It's been dubbed a rebadged version of the Poco X4 GT, also known as the Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G.
Xiaomi has yet to confirm the phone's key specifications. However, based on the teaser poster's design, it is safe to assume that the rebranding rumours are true. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC will power the K50i. The premium chipset can be found in devices such as the OnePlus 10R, Realme GT Neo 3, and others. According to the latest teaser from the company, the K50i outperforms the iPhone 13's A15 Bionic on the AnTuTu benchmark.

Redmi India shared a screenshot of the device's AnTuTu benchmark comparison with the A15 (4-core GPU) SoC and Snapdragon 888 SoC found in the iPhone 13. The A15 received 8,04,131 points, while the Snapdragon 888 received 7,82,653 points. In comparison, the Redmi K50i powered by the Dimensity 8100 scored 8,22,274.

Xiaomi has yet to confirm whether the K50i will be equipped with a custom-developed Dimensity 8100 SoC like the OnePlus 10R. The Redmi K50i will be available in two storage configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The phone will have a fingerprint scanner on the side. It will have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen will be flat with a hole punched in the centre. The device's unique selling point is its 144Hz refresh rate display, which will be the fastest in the segment.
The K50i will have a triple-camera setup on the back. A 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor will be included in the phone. It will also have a 16MP front-facing camera. The device will come pre-installed with Android 12-based MIUI 13.
The phone comes with a 5080 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging out of the box. The phone will be available in three different colours: Quick Silver, Phantom Blue, and Stealth Black.
