The Redmi Note 11 SE launch date was unexpectedly announced two days ago. The smartphone will be available on August 26th, according to the company. Xiaomi will sell the device on Flipkart in India. A Flipkart teaser page confirmed the same. The company may forego a launch event in favor of launching the product directly on the e-commerce platform.

In India, the Redmi Note 11 SE will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10S, so pricing should be comparable. The Redmi Note 10S is currently available in India for a starting price of Rs 12,499, so we can expect Xiaomi to launch this at the same price, or perhaps a price that is Rs 1,000 higher or lower. Xiaomi will charge between Rs 12,000 and Rs 13,000 for it.

In an unusual move, Xiaomi has already revealed the Note 11 SE's specifications via a product page on its website. Here's what it'll have under the hood.

AMOLED Display

It has been confirmed that the device will have an AMOLED display. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, which is uncommon in 2022. The high refresh rate of this AMOLED display comes at a cost. The device will have a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It will have a camera cutout in the top center.

64MP Quad Camera Setup

The Redmi Note 11 SE will have four rear cameras. The primary camera sensor will be 64MP, with an 8MP ultrawide lens and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography. It will have the same camera module as the Redmi Note 10S on the back, as well as an LED flash. The device will be capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second.

Mediatek Helio G95 

The handset will be powered by the Mediatek Helio G95, a low-cost gaming chipset. It will be equipped with an ARM Mali-G76 GPU for graphics. The SoC will be paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
