Xiaomi's best-selling Redmi Note series is due for an upgrade. Every six months, the smartphone lineup is refreshed. The Redmi Note 11 series debuted in October of last year, and its successor, the Redmi Note 12 series, is now in charge. The Note 12 series is said to be made up of three smartphones: the standard Note 12, the Note 12 Pro, and the Note 12 Pro+.
Two new smartphones, thought to be from the upcoming Note 12 series, have been discovered on a TENAA listing, with some key specifications revealed. Let's take a look at the Redmi Note 12 series and what we know so far.
Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ May Soon Launch in China
According to Xiaomi's timeline, the Note series will be focused on performance products in the first half of the year, while phones in the second half will be equipped with balanced configurations.
According to the TENAA listing, there are two smartphones with the model numbers 22041216UC and 22041216C. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is thought to be 22041216C, while the Note 12 Pro+ is thought to be 22041216UC.
According to the TENAA listing, the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ have a 4980mAh and 4300mAh battery, respectively. Both smartphones have a 6.6-inch display, are 8.8mm thick, and run Android 12. The Note 12 Pro will be available in two RAM + storage configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
The TENAA listing, on the other hand, does not reveal the smartphone's design or other components. We expect to learn more about these smartphones as time passes on.
These smartphones have previously obtained Network Access licenses and are expected to be released in May 2022. According to rumours, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series will be powered by a high-performance MediaTek processor rather than a Qualcomm processor. On the Redmi Note 12 series, Xiaomi could use the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 or MediaTek Dimensity 8000 processors.
According to DCS, the Redmi Note 12 series will have a distinct industrial design, strong performance, and an extended battery life.
