Many Galaxy smartphones have already received the new August 2022 security update from Samsung. The new OneUI update addresses some critical bugs that were reported in previous updates. The new update corrects a bug that leaked device MAC addresses when connected to Bluetooth or NFC devices. The update also addresses a Knox VPN flaw. Samsung has patched 31 such vulnerabilities and issues.
