The Galaxy M04 may be launched soon.
On August 10th, Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold4, Z Flip4, Galaxy Watch 5 series, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro globally. While these are all premium devices and products from Samsung, the company is also planning to release a few Galaxy A series and Galaxy M series budget and mid-range devices in the near future.
Previously, we discovered the Samsung Galaxy A04s and Samsung Galaxy A04 on various websites such as the FCC, NBTC, BIS, Wi-Fi alliance, and others. Now, we've spotted what could be the Galaxy M04 this year. The Galaxy M04 has been listed on the Geekbench website, revealing a few key features such as the operating system, RAM, and processor.
Galaxy M04 Will Run on Android 12
The SM-M045F model number will be assigned to the upcoming Galaxy M04. However, Geekbenck does not confirm that this model number will be marketed as the Galaxy M04; however, based on the model number, we believe it will be launched as the Galaxy M04. According to Geeknench, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M04 will have 3GB of RAM, but we can expect more RAM and storage options.
The upcoming M series device will be powered by an octa-core processor running at 2.3GHz. The chipset is labeled "ARM MT6765V/WB," and the motherboard is labeled "m04." Based on these details, we believe the device will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which is the company's entry-level processor for budget phones. The listing also confirms that the device will run Android 12, which will most likely be based on the One UI 4.1 core.
The MediaTek Helio G35 is an octa-core SoC with Arm Cortex-A53 CPUs and a 2.3GHz maximum clock speed. This SoC comes with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The same chipset has been seen in phones such as the Realme C21, Redmi 9 Activ, Redmi 9C, Nokia G20, and others. More information about the device should be available soon, as the phone's release appears to be imminent.
