The BMOC (BGMI Open Challenge) — The Grind is in full swing, and the finalists have been determined with one final battle to go. The BGMI Open Challenge is the first of many esports competitions organised by Krafton that will take place in 2022.

The Grind is a 24-team scrimmage featuring some of the country's most popular esports teams. Skylightz Gaming, the BGIS (BGMI Series) victor from last year, will compete in The Grind against finalists GodLike Esports and Team XO, the BGIS 2021 winner of The Grind.

BMOC (BGMI Open Challenge) Finalists – The Grind Confirmed

The BMOC In-Game Qualifiers ended on April 10, and the results will be released on April 17, 2022. From April 4 to April 10, players who enrolled for the BMOC had to play 15 matches with their registered teams. The top ten matches from a field of fifteen will be evaluated and graded accordingly. The top 512 teams will advance to the BMOC's next round.

The 512 squads from the In-Game Qualifiers will be seeded into 32 groups for Round 1 of the BMOC, with each group playing 5 matches. The top eight teams will advance to Round 2 of the online qualifiers.

Round 2 Online Qualifiers will feature the top 256 teams, who will be seeded into 16 groups, with the top four teams from each group advancing to Round 3. Round 3 will feature 64 teams, with 32 teams advancing to Round 4.

Round 4 is the final stage of the BMOC, and the top six teams will qualify for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS), which begins on May 19 and runs until June 12, 2022.
