Xiaomi phones are here to stay now that Mi flagships have adopted the name of its original brand. The Xiaomi 11i, which will succeed the Mi 10i (review) launched around the same time last year, will kick off the company's year. And, whereas the Mi 10i's USP was 5G support and a 108MP camera, its successor will do something completely different.  Xiaomi 11i hypercharge launch date in India

Xiaomi has been working with MediaTek since August to develop the Dimensity 920 for Indian users, and the result is the Mi 11i.

MediaTek Dimensity 920: What’s on Offer?

The Dimensity 920 will be the mid-range SoC to watch in the first half of 2022. It is an all-around improvement over the previous Dimensity 800 series, with a 15% increase in performance and improved power efficiency due to the 6nm manufacturing process.

The Dimensity 920 also includes support for adaptive refresh-rate displays, as well as native HDR imaging with a 4K Video Capture Hardware engine. Phones based on the Dimensity 920 can have cameras with up to 108MP sensors, as well as flagship components such as UFS 3.1 storage, LPDDR5 RAM, and 120Hz displays. The Dimensity 920 has high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz, as well as energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz, arranged in a 4+4 configuration. The clock speeds are capped much lower than what they are designed for, which could be to keep thermals under control. It also has a 4-core ARM Mali G68 MP4 GPU, which MediaTek claims is powerful enough to handle all of this year's AAA games.

The Dimensity 920 is a 5G SoC as well. It supports 5G networks in both standalone and non-standalone modes on both SIMs. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are also supported. Xiaomi 11i hypercharge launch date in India
