This Week, The Epic Games Store Free is Giving Away The Game Maneater For Free.

Maneater, this week's free game on the Epic Games Store, is both whimsical and violent. In a surprisingly deep RPG system, players take control of the apex predator of the seas – a shark – and are tasked with terrorising the open seas.

Maneater is an open-world action RPG known colloquially as a "ShaRkPG." The player starts out as a shark pup, and as they eat and terrorise the open seas, they evolve and level up, adding more skills and tricks to their arsenal. Enemies of all kinds will try to bring you down, including both human enemies and sea creatures.

The game will be free on the Epic Games Store until June 16, 2022.

How to Download Maneater for Free from the Epic Games Store

You will need an Epic Games Account as well as the Launcher to download the game. Players can claim the game by creating a new account or logging in to their existing account on the store's website (linked here) and going to the Free Games section.

After adding the game to your Library, you can download it to your PC. The game can then be launched from the player's Library. Epic has consistently given away great games for free, and they have committed to continuing to do so through 2022.
