Vivo X80 with Dimensity 9000 SoC and 8GB RAM has been Listed on Google Play Console Ahead of Launch

Vivo is getting ready to launch the Vivo X80 series smartphones in the next weeks. While the firm has yet to officially declare the X80 series' debut date, a recent leak suggests the phone will be available in China on April 25. The Vivo X80 series is expected to have three phones: the Vivo X80 Pro Plus, which will be the top-tier option, the Vivo X80 Pro, which will be the mid-tier variant, and the vanilla Vivo X80.

Previously, the X80 and X80 Pro specifications were released, and the X80 Pro Plus was discovered on the Geekbench database. The vanilla Vivo X80 device has now been seen in the Google Play Store listing, revealing some of the gadget's major specs. Let's have a look at what the phone has to offer.

Vivo X80 Spotted on Google Play Console

The Vivo X80 smartphone with model number V2144 has been detected on the Google Play platform, showing information such as processor, screen resolution, Android version, and GPU. To begin with, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek MT6983 chipset, which is the most recent MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

This is the chipset manufacturer's top-of-the-line chip, which is based on the latest ARM v9 architecture and has a 1+3+4 cluster. It features a main X2 core clocked at 3.05GHz as well as three Cortex-A710 performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz. The efficiency cores are clocked at 1.8GHz. The SoC is combined with a Mali-710 GPU with 10 cores.

Furthermore, the listing confirms that the phone will ship with Android 12 out of the box. The console lists 8GB RAM, but we can expect a 12GB edition as well. The standard Vivo X80 will be equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It is also predicted to have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The X80 is expected to ship with a 4500mAh battery that supports 80W rapid charging.

The phone is reported to have a triple-camera arrangement on the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom. A 32MP camera is expected to handle selfies.
