Vivo's X80 series of smartphones were launched in China earlier this week. The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro smartphones were released in the company's home country. The X80 series of phones will be available worldwide next week. Vivo has already confirmed that the X80 series will be available globally on May 8. Along with the vanilla X80 and X80 Pro devices, we expect the Pro Plus version of the device to be unveiled at the event. However, no confirmation has yet been received.

The Vivo X80 Pro has been discovered on the FCC website ahead of its May 8 release. The phone's model number is V2145, according to the FCC database. The device's dual SIM support is also confirmed by the listing, in addition to the model number. However, nothing else is revealed on the website. The Vivo X80 with V2144 has also been spotted on the NBTC certification. The NBTC certification was also passed by the X80 Pro. Both phones are listed on the NBTC website as supporting the 5G network.

Vivo X80 Pro: Specifications and Features

The Vivo X80 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch E5 2K AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. The phone is powered by either a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage.

A 50MP (f/1.57, OIS) GNV main camera, a 48MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 12MP (f/1.85) portrait camera, and an 8MP (f/3.4, OIS) telephoto lens are all included in the X80 Pro. The device has a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

The phone is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless fast charging at 80W and 50W, respectively. The handset is powered by OriginOS Ocean OS, which is based on Android 12. Last but not least, the phone is 9.1mm thick and weighs 215 grams.

According to the teaser on the Vivo India website, the Vivo X80 series will be released in India on May 18.
