Xiaomi has launched the global launch of the 12 Lite 5G. The new Xiaomi 12 series smartphone is the fourth addition to the Xiaomi 12 series lineup, which also includes the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to be launched in India later this year. There is no official word on when the device will be available in India. Given that Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Lite series in India, the company is expected to refresh its new upper mid-range smartphone as well.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is the company's new mid-range smartphone. The device is available in three storage configurations. The base model comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The price is $399. (roughly Rs 31,700). The 8GB + 128GB variant costs $449 (approximately Rs 35,700), while the 8GB + 256GB variant prices $499. (roughly Rs 39,700).
The device is available in three colours: Lite Green, Lite Pink, and Black.

The 12 Lite 5G has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen has a 950 nit peak brightness and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDR10+ are also supported. The device has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
The phone is made of glass and weighs approximately 173 grams. It has dimensions of 159.30mm x 73.70mm x 7.29mm. The device has a 4300 mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. According to Xiaomi, the phone charges completely in 41 minutes. It ships with Android 12 and a layer of MIUI 13 on top.
