Xiaomi Band 7 Spotted on BIS Certification Website

Xiaomi first announced the Mi Band 7 and Mi Band 7 NFC Edition smart wearable devices in China in May. This is Xiaomi's latest fitness tracker and the successor to the widely popular Mi Band 6. The Mi Smart Band 7 was spotted on the IMDA website a few days ago, indicating an impending global launch, and now the wearable has been spotted on the BIS website, indicating that the smart band could launch in India soon.

Mukul Sharma, a tipster, discovered the Xiaomi Band 7 on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The BIS listing suggested model number "M2129B1," which is the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 non-NFC or standard version. Interestingly, Mukul has mentioned the fitness tracker's name as "Xiaomi Band 7." This could be because Xiaomi confirmed a few months ago that it will no longer use the "Mi" branding on its smartphones, and Xiaomi may simply call the Xiaomi Band 7 or the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 in India. In China, however, the device is still known as the Mi Band 7.
