The key specifications of ZTE's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Axon 40 Ultra, have been leaked. The upcoming flagship will be released as a replacement for the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, which was released last year. The flagship Android smartphone is expected to be released in a limited number of global markets. The company has teased some of the phone's key specs and features ahead of its official launch.

The Axon 30 Ultra will be equipped with Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon platform. The device will also have a better front-facing camera that is hidden beneath the screen. Let's take a look at the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra specifications, features, and other information that is currently available.

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will be available in China on May 9. The company has teased some of the phone's key specs and features ahead of its official launch. The Axon 40 Ultra will be available with an under-screen front camera at launch. It is said to have a 16MP front-facing camera sensor.

The screen is curved, with thin bezels on the top and bottom edges. ZTE will release a flagship phone with a 6.8-inch OLED display and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 10-bit screen will support a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.

The phone has a rectangular camera module on the back that houses a triple-camera setup. Three 64MP sensors will be included in the phone. The main camera will have a Sony IMX787 sensor as well as an OmniVision 64MP ultrawide camera sensor. Another 64MP sensor will be included for telephoto shots.

As previously stated, the device will be powered by a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone will also come with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging right out of the box.
