Following the debut of the iQoo 9, iQoo 9SE, and iQoo 9 Pro in the Indian market, iQoo is now preparing to launch a new Z-series gadget – the iQoo Z6 5G. This morning, the microsite for the imminent launch went up. In a new development, tipster Abhishek Yadav has reported that the iQoo Z6 5G would be available in the Indian market on March 16th.

In a second leak earlier today, tipster Mukul Sharma reported that the forthcoming Z-series phone will have a Full HD+ resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Sharma further stated that the next iQoo device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 CPU.

To those who are unaware, the Snapdragon 695 is fabricated on a 6nm technology and includes an integrated Adreno 619 GPU and an X51 5G modem. Other mid-range handsets powered by the Snapdragon 695 include the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Poco X4 Pro 5G, Realme 9 Pro, Vivo T1, and others.

The camera arrangement design of the future mid-range handset is also revealed on the launch micro-site. The iQoo Z6's camera arrangement and location of camera lenses and LED flash to appear to be remarkably similar to those of the Vivo T1. In fact, the Vivo T1 includes a Snapdragon 695 processor as well as a 120Hz refresh rate display.

Only this much is known about the impending iQoo Z-series device as of now. However, the device's introduction is apparently only a week away, so we should learn more about it in the next 2-to 3 days. iQoo often releases a smartphone in its home market before bringing it to India. However, this time is different because the iQoo Z6 smartphone has not yet been released in the Chinese market.
