Xiaomi confirmed its plans to launch the Xiaomi 12 Pro in the country last week via social media teasers. In a social media post, Xiaomi India Head – Manu Kumar Jain hinted at a possible April 12th launch. Since then, however, there has been no progress. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is expected to be released in India on April 12th, according to reports. The Xiaomi 12 Pro was first launched in China in December and has only recently made its way to the rest of the world. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is the company's current top-of-the-line device, and it will be the company's flagship for the Indian market this year.

Xiaomi 12 Pro Specifications and Features

Under the hood, the Xiaomi flagship sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and an Adreno 730 GPU. Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage are included in the system on-chip. The phone comes pre-installed with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a triple 50MP camera setup, which is comparable to that of a flagship device. The device's primary sensor is a Sony IMX707 sensor with a 50MP resolution and a 1/1.28-inch sensor size, as well as optical image stabilization. A 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a Samsung JN1 sensor and a 115° field of view is included. A 50MP portrait sensor with a Samsung JN1 sensor and 2x optical zoom is also included.
The Xiaomi flagship has a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with a 4600mAh battery. It has a 120W HyperCharge fast charging capability as well as a 50W wireless charging capability.
