A new Apple event to unveil the new iPad Pro M2 is expected later this year, possibly in September or October. According to Gurman, the new iPads will include the new M2 chip. With the new iPad Pro models, Apple is expected to launch wireless charging support for the iPad for the first time.

In addition, Gurman anticipated camera improvements. It is currently unknown what improvements Apple will make to the iPad Pro, which currently has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash and a LiDAR sensor.
Later this year, the company is expected to release 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models. According to DSCC's Ross Young, Apple is working on a 14.1-inch iPad Pro. According to the leaked information, the larger iPad Pro model will not be released this year. Apple is instead targeting a March 2023 release date for the 14.1-inch iPad.
The new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be designed in the same way as the M1 iPad Pro and will be available in 2021. It will, however, have slightly slimmer bezels around the display. The 11-inch model will not change much. Apple is rumored to be introducing a mini LED panel on the 11-inch model, which is already available in the 12.9-inch variant. Both models will, of course, support the ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate.
