Asus ROG Phone 6, ROG Phone 6 Pro Listed on 3C Website
Asus is likely to keep the same charging speed as the previous generation.
The ROG Phone 6, Asus' gaming-focused flagship smartphone series, will be available globally on July 5. The company announced the launch date for the same a few weeks ago. With only a few weeks until the device's release, two phones from the ROG Phone 5 series have been spotted on the 3C certification website, revealing the device's charging speed.
The company launched three new phones in the ROG Phone 5 series last year: the Asus ROG Phone 5, the ROG Phone 5 Pro, and the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. While the brand has yet to confirm the number of devices in the upcoming series, we have spotted two sixth-generation gaming devices, the Asus ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro.
Asus ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro Spotted on 3C Website
The 3C website has revealed the Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro devices. The vanilla ROG Phone 6 has the model number "ASUS AI2201 A," while the ROG Phone 6 Pro has the model number "ASUS AI2201 B." According to the listing, both phones will support the same fast-charging standards and maximum fast charge output.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro will both support a maximum charging speed of 65W, the same as the previous-generation ROG 5 trio. The devices will support 15W charging in normal mode and PPS protocol charging up to 65W. Aside from the charging speed, the listing confirms that both phones will support 5G, which is not surprising.
Asus ROG Phone 6: Specifications (Expected)
The company has confirmed that the gaming flagship phone will be powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The device is confirmed to have a 165Hz refresh rate display as well as slightly thick top and bottom bezels. The phone is expected to have a large 6,000mAh battery. Because this is a gaming device, we can expect features such as dual stereo speakers, a VC cooling chamber, and more.
