Samsung Galaxy M13 with 6.6-inch Full HD+ Display Announced: Specifications, Features

Samsung quietly launched the Galaxy M13 budget phone. The successor to the Samsung Galaxy M12 was announced quietly by the company. The phone is currently listed on Samsung's official mobile press website, which confirms all of the device's specifications as well as a few images. While the Galaxy M13 5G has received a lot of attention, the one announced today is a 4G variant.

The Samsung Galaxy M13 is powered by Samsung's Exynos SoC and has 4GB of RAM. In terms of cameras, the device has a triple rear camera setup and a front-facing selfie camera hidden inside the Infinity-V notch. The phone also has a large battery, but it does not support fast charging. Let's take a closer look at the new Samsung Galaxy M13.

Samsung Galaxy M13: Specifications and Features

The Galaxy M13 has a 6.6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. It also has an Infinity-V display notch. The website does not reveal the device's screen refresh rate. In comparison, the Galaxy M12 debuted with a 90Hz display but an HD+ screen resolution. The Galaxy M13's display could be an LCD with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The device includes a fingerprint scanner on the side.

The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 850 octa-core processor with a clock speed of up to 2GHz. The Mali-G52 MP1 GPU powers the device. The phone has two storage options: 64GB and 128GB, and both models have 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, the device supports microSD cards with capacities of up to 1TB. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and is capable of 15W charging via a Type-C port.

Moving on to the camera, the Galaxy M13 has a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2,4 aperture. There is also a flashing LED. The phone has an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a fixed focus on the front.

In terms of software, the device is powered by Android 12 and the One UI Core 4.1 skin. The phone is 76.9 x 165.4 x 8.4mm in size and weighs 192 grams. Additional security features include Samsung Knox, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4G+5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.0. The Galaxy M13's price and availability have yet to be announced. The device is also expected to be launched in India.
