Vivo Y36i Launched in China: Price, Specifications

In China, Vivo has released several smartphones under the Y series. The Vivo Y100i 5G smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, an economical edition of the Vivo Y100 5G smartphone, was unveiled by the Chinese smartphone giant. Vivo also introduced the Vivo Y36 and the Vivo Y100i 5G smartphone. The company has now announced the release of the Vivo Y36i smartphone in China.

The recently released Y36i is a cheaper variant of the Vivo Y36. Its specifications are comparable to the Vivo Y36. Vivo's recently announced Vivo Y36i smartphone is priced under RMB 1,200 (about Rs 14,000).

Vivo Y36i: Pricing, Availability

The Y36i is available in Fantasy Purple, Galaxy Gold, and Deep Space Black. Vivo has only released one type with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The device is priced at RMB 1,199 (about Rs 13,950) by the firm. The device will be available for purchase on Chinese online shop websites. 

Vivo Y36i: Features, Specifications

The smartphone is outfitted with an LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz from Vivo. The gadget is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, which is manufactured using a 7nm technology. The chipset has two Cortex A76 cores running at 2.2GHz and six Cortex A55 cores running at 2.0GHz. The chipset is used in conjunction with LPDRR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Vivo's cheap offering also has virtual RAM expansion technologies. 

The device boasts a waterdrop notch for the front camera and large bezels surrounding the display. The Y36i has a rectangular camera island on the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a secondary AI sensor. The phone comes pre-installed with Origin OS 3, which is based on Android 13. To meet offline demand, Vivo may launch the smartphone under a new name in India.
